    After a few hairy moments as the fish dived for safety, the result was a safely netted 9 lb 1 oz Bass.

    Charli L and Baylee Miller look very happy catching Mackerel while fishing on our own private boat. We're not going to need many chips! No matter the weather or time of year, Dartmouth is an exciting town just waiting to be explored.

    Photo courtesy of Rob Miller In amongst my fatherly duties of re-rigging countless times :Ocatching bait and re-baiting I did manage to wet a line about half a dozen times with a Sidewinder and caught a couple of Bass to 3 lbs and a couple of small Pollack.

    Also, please realise that the time I am able to dedicate to this work may be limited.

    Along with that nice fish one of his anglers landed a superb Tub Gurnard of 8lb. For me it was a very quiet day with only two 'investigations' on my Mackerel bait but I put in some good practice on netting some nice Bass :O. Pete Sumner holds aloft a quality Bass 12 lbs 12 ozs.

    Paignton Harbour nestles on the western shores of Tor Bay, situated midway between…. The last trip was exceptional and has to be one of the best trips I have experienced on Spot On so when 2pm came I told them they have more than enough and with 3 guys filleting for over 3 hours on the steam home I think I was correct to do so.     3. Just to send picture of my fishing buddy Adam Burges, who is a very keen lure fisherman for Bass around the South Hams coast. The skipper, Owen Mallia, got in on the action with this fine 19 - 20lb Pollack which he caught out on the mid Channel wrecks aboard his Dartmouth based 'Outlaw'.
